Live out your childhood dream of sleeping in a treehouse. Perfect for intrepid adventurers looking to retreat deep into the estate, where everything is calm, peaceful, and serene. This cabin is suitable for children ages 12 and up.
The highest and most remote cabin on the estate is well worth the effort: Once you reach the century-old oak tree that supports your cozy nest, you’ll have to climb 7 meters to reach the top. A short flight of stairs followed by a dizzying miller’s ladder—and there you are! Get ready to be blown away—the view overlooking the pond from your panoramic terrace is simply magical.
This adventure-style ecolodge for 2 to 3 people (without running water or electricity) is equipped with dry toilets. For your comfort, a space heater will be provided at the beginning and end of the season when temperatures may still be a bit cool.
Bed types: 1 raised double bed + 1 built-in single bed
The +: hundred-year-old oak + deck overlooking the pond
Directions: Left bank—a 20-minute walk from the parking lot—via a staircase and a ladder. I’ve marked the lodging on the estate map.
